Each year, a few WiCS members have the incredible opportunity to attend this event as grant recipients! ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥 These grants can be used to cover the costs of attending, including flights and accommodation. We have two grants sponsored by the FAS Dean’s Office, providing each recipient with:
🎟️ A complimentary GHC ticket
💰 $1400 CAD to help cover travel expenses (flights, accommodations, meals, etc.)

Are you interested in attending the Grace Hopper Celebration💫👩🏻💻, November 4th - 7th 2025 in Chicago, Il, USA? GHC is the world's largest gathering of women and non-binary technologists with over 37,000+ people who come together from over 115+ countries to discuss research and career interests! Learn more here.
The School of CS is providing travel grants to five WiCS members! Each grant will include $2400 which can be put towards ticket registration and travel costs (e.g. flights and accommodations).
The $2400 is subject to change to $1400 if the school is able to purchase the tickets as a group, meaning individuals will not need to buy a ticket to the conference.
The application deadline is Friday, May 9th, 2025 at 23:59.
Your answers to the questions in this survey will help us to determine eligibility, and will also be used to select recipients.
